Okay I'm a bit lost by the current laptop market between the heaps of bullshit companies are putting us through.

What I need is something decently powerful with the great battery life you find in ARM-based CPUs like Snapdragon and Apple Silicon chips.

I want the lightweight durable shit like Macbook Air you know, something I can realistically use everywhere.

I'm open to both Windows and MacOS because both are cringe, unfortunately I can't have Linux on it for reasons. (Don't worry I have it on my desktop). But I still can't decide whose the lesser evil, especially since all ARM Windows are boasting AI bullshit and I hate it I'm never gonna use that shit EVER anyway and I'm afraid I'm just paying a premium for their marketing bullshit.

Obviously Lenovo and Qualcomm are eyeing me for reasons but Asus Zenbooks are looking kinda cool

But ffs Snapdragon X CPUs come in three tiers and for some reason it's hard to find the highest end (called "Elite") where I live (Europe) and I have no idea if I really need one for music production (Reaper) and coding (Godot Engine)

Honestly I'm a lot too cowardly to do this, I just have this massive curiosity urge (yknow, autism does that) and search engines are completely useless at this. I don't wanna get banned from any Minecraft servers.

I presume there are obscure communities of people who have experience getting into the theme parks without paying any Minecoins. Some kind of hacker forums maybe? (cheating is bad!). People who discuss how not to get caught by the Piglins, who warn others on rookie mistakes and track cases of players getting caught.

Workers who worked in small businesses with few colleagues were the most likely to support the literal NSDAP in the 30's. Many thanks to everyone who helped me by writing incredible introspective, analytical and supportive things under the first thread. Some of you have been optimistic about the outcome and I'm sorry to tell you that it will not go anywhere. I feel the need to write a post for closure.

The initial situation was that the event we first met at was supposed to take place again at some point. So I thought it would be better to patiently wait so I can naturally get to know her a little more without the inherent intrusiveness of contacting her. I was however informed that this event wouldn't take place.

In two months I had time to stabilise my mood and reflect, but I traded my fiery heart for a depressed brain in the process. I just really needed an update, or the wierd longing would never end. So I concluded I had no choice but to send her a message.

Result : no answer.

So, yeah, looks like it's over fellas. And that's alright, I'm at peace. It's good, I know now, no more longing. I would've preferred if we became friends because she's a very talented and interesting person from what I know, but I'm happy with what I have. Sadness is normal, everything is good, I'm moving on.

The only way it could be worse would be that she's a hexbear I'd be so cooked lmaoooo. (My dear, if you're reading this, please be my Kim, I'll be your Harrier)

As a resident of a vassal state I'm locked in a bubble of naïve liberal media coverage treating Democrats as the left. I'm thinking about her way too much and it gives be bad vibes, she probably has no idea and I can't imagine the sheer horror of realising that someone is thinking this much about you after so little interaction.
