- A Young Doctor's Notebook - The memoir of a young doctor in revolutionary Russia
- Beef - Dramedy about two people who hate each other
- Boardwalk Empire - A historical drama about bootlegging in Atlantic City. Major and not-so major historical figures are played by every character actor ever.
- Counterpart - A show about the Cold War dressed up with sci fi
- Devs - Anti-silicon valley sci fi show
- Kaos - Class dark dramedy where industrial capitalism is dressed up as Greek Mythology
- Lodge 49 - Magical realist show about a loser in debt who tries to become part of a Mason's Lodge
- Maniac - Sci fi drama about friendship with an alt-history 80s aesthetic
- Mary & George - George is a pick-me who wants to attain status and power by sleeping with King James. Historical drama.
- Station Eleven - Post apocalyptic drama with non-linear story telling.
- Sugar - A private investigator with deep Hollywood nostalgia is something more than he appears
- Teacup - A couple of families find themselves terrorized and trapped by an invisible wall
- The Curse - Dark Comedy about a couple doing a house renovation show. The husband gets Cursed. Lampoons white Californian liberals
- The White Lotus - Anthology TV series centered around the mystery and farces of an international chain resort. Plenty of commentary about colonialism, wealth, and personal matters.
- Murder at the End of the World - A True Crime enthusiast and daughter of a coroner is also The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo falls for a computer hacker activist who ends up murdered at the remote resort of a tech billionaire.

2% of the world's population suddenly disappears. There's no explanation for the rapture or logic behind it. The psychosocial trauma then makes society collapse. It's shot so beautifully and the acting is top tier even for HBO dramas.
