What if we did fascism again, but "smart" clueless (guy who's blissfully unaware of what happened to the fascists in the 40's).

I think the problem is that people fundamentally do not understand that the conclusion to endless growth/profits is fascism.

Guarantee you 50% of that godforsaken platform (that I need to keep a job) would heil Hitler themselves if it meant more in their bank account

...which proves your first point lmao. Plenty of Germans were """"non-political"""" or didn't think of themselves as antisemitic. The Nazi party didn't even have the majority of the country as members. They went along with everything, especially the Holocaust, because it made them rich or allowed them to steal all their neighbors' stuff.

These people who want to just awkwardly sit around and tell themselves they aren't fascists, they "just want lower taxes," do not understand why and how fascists rose to power in the first half of the 20th. Century. They think Hitler woke up one morning and decided he'd do a genocidism, brainwashing millions of Germans with his good speeches.

No, you lanyard fucks. Hitler and the nazis rose to power because they advocated for turning imperialism inwards while increasing it outwards and the rest of Germany went along with it because they got to enjoy their new ill gotten gains. The same thing happened in Spain, Italy, Portugal, and Japan.

Convinced that the days of productive dialogue are over as long as social media is the dominant communication medium. History can be whatever people want
