Elsewhere …a .world account I think, someone called this attitude ageism. I’m waiting on his reply how he thinks it’s ok?

I don't want to post anything I'd regret and I'm not advocating for anyone to do anything but I'm just saying I doubt these little twerps are getting secret service protection

Don't do it, I disavow but I'm just saying

[–] BobDole@hexbear.net 21 points 5 hours ago

But if someone did do it

We disavow

Deny. Defend. Depose. Disavow.

I gotta be honest, all the fucking bureaucrats who just give into whatever the DOGE fascists want should be treated like collaborators in their crimes. If someone is like "this could lead to a nuclear armageddon but I gotta protect my job" they deserve to be lined up on a wall just as much as the person they're folding to.

Even the US armed forces for all their evil have a culture of refusing illegal orders. The fact that the bureaucracy doesn’t have the same concept is so irresponsible.

Well... I dunno about that

When's the last time someone refused an order and wasn't forced out or otherwise punished?

[–] DinosaurThussy@hexbear.net 14 points 4 hours ago

It happens. Mostly to protect classified information or to enforce procedure as far as I understand. It’s not about enforcing morality. Just legality.

At least it's a young gen z incel instead of a geriatric boomer incel. That's progress!
