OnlyFans star Annie Knight is sharing an update amid her recent hospitalization after sleeping with 583 men in six hours.
It's bizarre that US uses "sleeping with" to mean "had sex with". Readers clearly understand, she uses the word "sex" in her quotes, but the magazine/site insists on using that bizarre euphemism.
I don't think that that's very uncommon. When one "goes to the bathroom", it's understood that this is a euphemism for urinating or dedicating, not just hanging out there.

Agreed. It just seems like a weird editorial decision. Maybe it's because I'm not a regular US reader, or I live in a different country, but it seems to slightly obfuscate what happened.
You're looking way too deep into it. "Sleeping with someone" is such a common expression that nobody can possibly hope to obfuscate anything with it. Everybody knows they fucked. There will be no mistakes, no confusion. Besides, it's not unusual for different contexts to use different phrases and expressions for the same thing. The press using a "softer" language is not a uniquely American thing by a long shot and it's kinda weird to assume it would be.

I've always hated the saying. Clearly you're not sleeping if you're boning...
