President Xi, My name is Sleve McDichael. I am 12 years old. I live in America where we have no high speed rail. My country yearns for freedom. Please send Chengdu J-20 Multirole Stealth Fighter Aircraft.

i know it's not their bag really, but i hope china knows that doing a color revolution in amerikkka would be very funny

[–] Collatz_problem@hexbear.net 42 points 1 day ago

Color revolution, but the color is red.

Chinese posters should start saying "Nothing happened on June 8, 2025 in Los Angeles" and then create a copypasta describing the events claiming that if an American reads it, they'll get disappeared by the American regime.

Still missing the 400 Chinese military bases in Canada/Mexico/LA/SA, you know, for self defense and ensuring Freedom and Democracy^tm^ of the great Chinese people obviously, you know just in case.

[–] Lyudmila@hexbear.net 24 points 1 day ago

Uhm excuse me, I happen to live right next to a Chinese military base in North America.

By which I mean, hey if the pla wants to borrow my shed, I'm offering.

Can you imagine? I can. I bet the chinese would build a superbridge through the Bering Strait if Alaska were part of china

*for trains

Thats wildly impractical and an ecological-engineering nightmare. Which is why, funny enough, third-positionist duginists/larouchites fucking love the idea.

Just for people to get an idea for how wild of an idea it is, hop on Google maps and just look at how much untouched wild lands, swamps, tundra, etc. Are between Anchorage and Wales (AK), then the length between the Alaskan-Russia peninsulas in the Bering sea, then the amount of wild lands, swamps, and tundra between Naukan to Heihi. It's a wild amount of kilometers to cover via train!

Socialists get one big dumb infrastructure project, as a treat.

[–] WoodScientist@hexbear.net 6 points 1 day ago

Fine I'm claiming it. We're building a mile-tall colossus of John Brown.

hear me out: a high-speed train pontoon bridge from Shanghai to San Francisco, connected to CAHSR

this is how we connect Beijing to Bakersfield inshallah

[–] WizardOfLoneliness@hexbear.net 25 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (1 children)

Would it be difficult and stupid? Sure, but after a century of triumphs the peoples' republic will need new challenges rat-salute-2

[–] Alaskaball@hexbear.net 15 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Honestly would be better to just invest in green aviation or nauticsl technology and just travel conventionally

[–] WizardOfLoneliness@hexbear.net 30 points 1 day ago (1 children)

You're going to be riding the 1000mph hyperlev to Beijing through the worst storms the Bering strait has ever seen and YOU'RE GONNA LIKE IT BUDDY

[–] Alaskaball@hexbear.net 7 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Just stick me in one of those billionaire submersible at that point

[–] WizardOfLoneliness@hexbear.net 25 points 1 day ago (1 children)

you're gonna eat advanced chinese treat technology on the dining car and you'll be forced to say "wow"

better sure, but more... triumphant? Nah
