The Belgian government is going to buy 94 electric busses from Chinese company BYD and libs on reddit are losing it, because they could have also chosen a Belgian company. They are mentioning VDL as a possible manufacturer which is strange because VDL isn't Belgian either, it's Dutch lol. I was flaming this Anarcho-Capitalist moron on Twitter a couple days back and I noticed something going through the replies: I can't access my own tweets. The numbers say "3 Replies" but then you click and see 1 guy hidden. The guy didn't block me, they didn't break any rules and they still technically exist but apparently sometimes Twitter gets to decide that not you or anyone else can see what was said in a thread. The guy was a blue check so I'm honestly starting to think the jannies stepped in and hid them.

Just found out an old friend of mine passed away a couple of months ago. Saw him for the first time in a while (pandemic, ect) earlier last year and it was clear he wasn’t doing well. Wish I had put more effort into trying to hang out with or talk to him.
