Heh, I am amused someone is referencing this thread (which I forgot about) for a book about the noosphere being a part of the fediverse and being federated (through a technology built by aliens that uses a combination of machines with airwaves and dream influencing to unify dreams, which is a part of the fediverse) and the fact the reason we might not realize we're in each others' dreams is because the appearances in the dreams differ in inconsequential ways in the same way multiple versions of redrawn scenes or parallel style fiction do due to being federated, with the occasional individual defederation.

I just happened to be browsing all, sorted by 'new comments'. This sounds fun- can you link it?
I dreamt I played a new Borderlands game last night.
- Larger open world
- Emphasis on scavenging
- Returned to the more mature original game
- Even though I was a low level, I kept finding legendary guns
- I found myself in a loop of: go somewhere, kill people, turn in quest
- You could craft guns and vehicles from scrap
That I couldn't boot up my laptop. I'm yet to try turning it on. I think I need a nap first
i was opening a bunch of mail and one envelope had a check for $413k.
I had a dream with a neighbourhood that doesn't exist.
In the dream I know how to reach it - you need to go on a certain direction without crossing the main street, except that it's literally impossible to do so IRL.
The neighbourhood is poor and dilapidated; we call it a "vila" here in my city. And yet it's safe enough to let me walk through that neighbourhood for a shortcut. There's no house yards there, or streets, just a bunch of houses built at random.,
The weirdest part? It was the third time that I dreamt with this neighbourhood.
This morning I awoke with the following idea for a campaign issue:
People over the age of 65 who can should retire to create opportunities for the generations that followed them.
I can't remember the last one, so I'll tell the one before.
I think I had activated some really primal stuff. You know how so many animals cuddle in a bunch, often in entire groups, to keep warm and sleep together? Yeah, I was basically just lying down, with members from my family, on top of my father's rhythmically raising-falling belly, right on the edge of falling asleep (within my dream).
It was heaven. The most peaceful I have felt in a looong time. Despite us humans being boney animals (by default), it just felt so soft and comfy. I think it must have been some leftover from ancient hominid (?) life.
I dreamt that I was traveling in Germany and didn’t want to be called out as American, so the dream switched to Spanish (my second language). My brain did try Mandarin and Japanese but it was probably too resource intensive for a dream.
Having never been to Europe, “Germany” looked a lot more like Mexico than anything.
I can't remember it, but it was some doctor who type shit. Might be related to the 10 seasons of doctor who I've watched in the last couple weeks.
