Just a closer peek into the man's life. It's not that he criticized this or that, it's that he was a fraud

He’s been giving some PatSoc vibes from what I know of him. I know he’s worked with MWM before claiming he “didn’t know they were PatSocs” when he got backlash as recent as 2024 iirc. I also read the intro he wrote for post-mortem release (which he edited) of Losurdo’s “Western Marxism: How It Was Born, How It Died, and How It Can Be Reborn” where he denounces decolonial Marxism as a western deviation of Marxism.

Could you please elaborate on that one a little bit? Do you have any relevant links or references? I mean, Rockhill does have some very good works, I never suspected anything PatSoc-y, and in Losurdo's book I could only find this:

"Much of what Losurdo diagnoses in this book therefore applies mutatis mutandis to many other trends promoted by the theory industry, some of which are openly anti-Marxist, including postcolonial theory, decolonial theory, liberal feminist and queer theory, Afro-pessimism, and so forth.15"

Here's what is probably being referenced: "Gaya Markaran and Pierre Gaussens, coord., Piel blanca, máscaras negras: Crítica de la razón decolonial (Mexico City: Bajo Tierra and Centro Centro de Investigaciones sobre América Latina y el Caribe-Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, 2020);"

But a nation is loved not for its political system

Should Germans have loved Nazi Germany because it was "their nation", in spite of its political system? How about the Italians or the Japanese? Or any European nation participating in WW1? Is loving the US (or any other imperialist nation) not reactionary? Patriotism cannot and should not be detached from class reality and from material analysis. Otherwise it becomes nothing but a tool to lead the masses towards their slaughter in the name of Capital, instead of a tool for liberation.

PS IMHO anyone unironically referencing Solzhenitsyn as "credible source" should be immediately dismissed.

The title implies its been creeping into the modern Ukrainian army, which only existed for 33-something years. The "80 years" part may only be applicable to the outside world. It's mixed up a bit here.

Ukrainian fascism was created outside Ukraine

Fascism by its very nature is always an Astroturfed movement. And given the fact that we're talking about a former Soviet republic - it had to be forcefully pushed into the country, with billions of dollars pouring from the Empire's coffers.

Fascism was created in the Western Europe

I wouldn't quite put it like that - reactionary movements existed prior to Mussolini and Hitler - the particular form that was eventually coined as "fascism" was, though. UNR, I would say, were also reactionaries, so were the Whites etc. The point stands -Banderism is undoubtedly a vile child of the West.

This comment is spot on, though. Couldn't agree more.

The only difference is optics. Liberals think it, fascists say it.

Capitalism is when no food and no teeth to chew food. Got it. Renting teeth when?

As Zelenskyy sheltered from Russia’s invasion in bunkers and evaded Russian assassins, Stoltenberg wasn’t able to speak to him for two days. When they finally talked, “that phone call was quite difficult”... ...Part of it, Stoltenberg recalls, was the fear Zelenskyy would soon be “caught or killed”.

The trip, which was viewed as a key opportunity by Ukrainian officials for Zelensky to sell the United States on how to support Ukraine going forward, failed to resonate in Washington. Biden held his stance on prohibiting U.S.-provided longer-range missiles to strike inside Russia and Zelensky found himself caught in a political crossfire as influential Republicans largely criticized or snubbed him. A meeting with Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump — Zelensky’s first since the start of the war — came together hastily after Trump initially said he didn’t plan to meet.

Zelensky’s U.S. swing reinforced the sort of unsettling limbo Ukraine now finds itself in going forward — reliant on the United States as its main ally to arm it against Russia yet unsure how long that support will continue as attention on the war fades in its third year and with the new escalation in the Middle East.

So far, president Vladimir Putin and top-level Russian government figures have hinted at taking Kharkov, Odessa and 3 other regions. What do you think is going to be their way of solving the crisis in Ukraine, depending on the particular way the West and their fascist puppet in Kiev choose to go? Which way do you think is the most rational?

The puppet masters are going to be just fine. You won't. And your Nazi government is not going to cover your ass.
