I'm sure I've seen a dub of this meme but with Jesse and James and Meowth

Wait do people unironically like 100 gecs. Their songs all sound like someone in a steel factory being autotuned while screaming in pain

I get this a lot, a lot of people assume I'm either gay or asexual because I never talk about sex. When I tell them I'm pan they just assume I'm gay and not at terms with it. I'm hella attracted to women, I just don't talk about it so people assume I'm not. But then I'm also hella attracted to men and I don't talk about that, and people assume I'm gay because of it

Counterpoint: I will never get tired of watching the protagonist and their rival team up to defeat the greater villain

Fujimoto's so cool. His assistant wrote gay porn and he was like "go support my friend!"

Oh I'm not a communist anymore! All it took was for some Christofascist to post an unhinged rant online.

I'm around 20 and it struck me yesterday how young I look. Being 20 does not make you an adult at all

Social democracy is objectively the moderate wing of fascism :stalin-approval:

The new Weezer album is kinda underwhelming tbh. Nothing about any of the songs screams Weezer, they're all kinda generic pop rock. I like some of the songs like Run Raven Run and Can't Dance Don't Ask Me, but they could have been done by anyone really. Idk, it's just not very characteristic of Weezer compared to their more iconic songs from the blue album

I understand how the free trade policies lead to monopoly, and I understand how financial monopolies take over industrial monopolies. But I don't really get the jump from monopolies to imperialism.

OP in the comments: "A part of why I love this article is this great sample questionnaire to determine how fit you are to be making big decisions about the country:

What is your favorite book? (Cannot answer “The Bible.”)

How many languages do you speak? (Let’s be wary of numbers lower than 3.)

What’s your favorite opera? Ballet? (How can we expect arts funding from people who don’t appreciate the arts?)

When did you last use your passport? Where did you go? (If you don’t have a passport, maybe you shouldn’t be anywhere near foreign policy. Ditto if your travels have only ever taken you to Mexico and Canada.)

Who is your favorite political philosopher? Have you read Burke? Paine? (Any good music teacher will tell you, theory first!)

Obviously it's more of a thought experiment than a serious proposal, but imagine if the people making decisions actually appreciated art and travel and culture. It actually sounds like a constituency you'd find in a major European city, with no Billy Bobs in trailer parks to hold us back culturally."

Hmm, I wonder why exactly rural people hate liberals? :thinkin-lenin: Obviously they are just good for nothing disgusting poors. Back to brunch!
