Minimal similarity to any domesticated animals

That is a goat with a long tail. They've even got the cloven hooves.

Germany never knew how to handle the DDR correctly.

Thanks, guess that makes sense, kinda.

Instead of mass translating C code in some insane ready-to-ruin codebases project, why not just.. make a compiler that addresses the vulnerabilities?

Aw, don't retract. The reality with these things is always that the person you're arguing with will practically never change their mind, but other people who view the conversation might. I don't think agitating on .world is for many people, probably very few, but I would argue it results in something.

Honestly, I feel like the correct answer depends as much on your ability to pay as anything. Among my friend group, I wouldn't expect any money to change hands, but if one or more of us was significantly wealthy, that expectation might be different.

Obviously you're talking about famous leftists, otherwise the answer is some unknown beefy soviet guy.

The correct answer is obviously Gagarin, being of peak physical ability and with a dream in his heart. yuri

I'd argue small businesses are just more likely to either be much better or much worse, and large companies will typically be 'average'. Small businesses can fly under the radar on so many laws, and can either serve their local community in spite of lost profit, or on the other hand more effectively exploit local spikes in unemployment. Large businesses can't micromanage that hard and are forced to be held to account.

My position is that if a small business looks good (ie, the boss isn't a chud/slave driver), then I'd happily work for 'em. Whereas most large businesses are just always the same.

I am sorry, comrade. I've been in your shoes for years at a time and it really sucks. You might be able to largely sustain on shoplifted goods, but the fact is unless your locale has some unique exploitable flaws, there is no way to reliably and ethically escape poverty by doing crime. Any way of making even slightly useful amounts, and you'll almost certainly be exploiting other poor people, and almost certainly caught, sued, imprisoned, and your situation will become even worse yet.

Seek mutual aid, charities, etc. Always be keeping an eye out, online and locally, for good work opportunities. If at all possible, make connections with other people in orgs, clubs, libraries, or even just online, don't be afraid to ask to bum a lift and a couple favours from others who can help. Contrary to society's messaging, it is not shameful to need or ask for help.

I know these things aren't easy, aren't always feasible, and won't always work. This is unfortunately the system we're forced to live in.

Libs while they murder you for opposing their genocide: " Maybe you should be nicer to me :/ "

I've yet to see anything of Sublinks that wasn't a direct copy of Lemmy, implemented in a worse language, that after almost a year, is still not documented or at all functional.

I've found so many dubs to be overly simplified, poorly directed, filled with weird unnecessary jokes, skip over culturally relevant terms, misunderstand the dialogue, or otherwise use super duper weird "anime" voice like they're dubbing a drug-induced kids cartoon, that I only trust subs now. Sometimes I'll have both at once as a test, then inevitably realise how relatively fucked the dub is, then go back to subs.

I would love to enjoy dubs. And some shows, I assume, have good dubs, but I've not seen it.
