Are all the low-interest loans China is exporting to periphery countries mostly in USD?
Instead the Chinese are leading the world in green technology, public infrastructure, scientific research, space exploration, and more. Smdh what could have been

Latest polls showing Maine, Kansas, and Oregon as totally unpredictable swing states. All other states pretty much settled, about half on Jill Stein. Rumors are Bernie made a few calls this weekend to try and consolidate the race in Trump’s favor, but there’s not much time left before election day. Biden has replaced Waltz as Kamala’s running mate, and with Kamala’s poor health most people are seeing that as a positive, last ditch effort to win over voters in Florida and California. Could be decisive, but again Jill Stein is looking very strong so it’s anyone’s game right now. In a repeat of last year, it’ll basically come down to Kansas again, and how their Arab population (big on Waltz) perceives the last-second swap.
Ugh Ukraine is going to be exporting fascist provocateurs for decades
Super interesting, thanks for such a thorough breakdown. If these countries that have received USD loans for B&R projects decided to pay those back to China in Yuan rather than USD, would there be any benefit in that? I guess that would mean they would be accumulating USD and would have to procure Yuan through other means to do it. But I wonder if like all these countries just held on to their USD and tried not to spend it, if that would then have an effect on the power of the treasury. Or maybe it would make things worse if we went into a recession, they’d have a lot of currency that would be worth less than it was when they received the initial loan?
