Welcome to c/news! Please read the Hexbear Code of Conduct and remember... we're all comrades here.

Rules:

-- PLEASE KEEP POST TITLES INFORMATIVE --

-- Overly editorialized titles, particularly if they link to opinion pieces, may get your post removed. --

-- All posts must include a link to their source. Screenshots are fine IF you include the link in the post body. --

-- If you are citing a twitter post as news please include not just the twitter.com in your links but also nitter.net (or another Nitter instance). There is also a Firefox extension that can redirect Twitter links to a Nitter instance: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/libredirect/ or archive them as you would any other reactionary source using e.g. https://archive.today/ . Twitter screenshots still need to be sourced or they will be removed --

-- Mass tagging comm moderators across multiple posts like a broken markov chain bot will result in a comm ban--

-- Repeated consecutive posting of reactionary sources, fake news, misleading / outdated news, false alarms over ghoul deaths, and/or shitposts will result in a comm ban.--

-- Neglecting to use content warnings or NSFW when dealing with disturbing content will be removed until in compliance. Users who are consecutively reported due to failing to use content warnings or NSFW tags when commenting on or posting disturbing content will result in the user being banned. --

-- Using April 1st as an excuse to post fake headlines, like the resurrection of Kissinger while he is still fortunately dead, will result in the poster being thrown in the gamer gulag and be sentenced to play and beat trashy mobile games like 'Raid: Shadow Legends' in order to be rehabilitated back into general society. --

“The changes posed by drones are so fast that concepts we implemented just a month ago no longer work now,” said an infantry battalion commander, whose call sign is “Cuba”, with the 13th Khartiia brigade.

Khartiia is one of two fascist corps btw, it's not a brigade. The National Guard of Ukraine was recently reorganised into two 15,000 member Corps. One is Azov Corps (azov brigade no longer exists and is now a much larger fascist-led corps) and the other is Khartiia, also fascist-led.

Here is a picture of a Khartiia ceremony.

This interview is conducted with fascists.

Lol they look like the bad guys in x-com 2, wouldn't be surprised if they're a bunch of giant snakes under those human skins

Holy fucking shit this does look 100% like some evil Warframe or Wolfenstein faction, and libs are juicing themselves over it.

ussr-cry Blackest reaction indeed marx-doomer

What is that ominous symbol on their flags? I can only assume it's something fashy like the wolfsangle, but I don't recognize it.

[–] PolandIsAStateOfMind@lemmygrad.ml 11 points 13 hours ago

It's stylised bow and arrow in square shape. Why Ukrainian nazis would use typical steppe symbol is unknown to me so it's 100% dogwhistle for swastika.

[–] Sinisterium@hexbear.net 8 points 13 hours ago

It seems very much based on the ww2 nazi turkestan volunteer badge

ChatGPT, please draw me a swastika that doesn’t look like a swastika

It looks like a space marine logo

[–] gil2455526 15 points 13 hours ago (1 children)

Liberal media would explain it as "to intimidate Russians" or some bullshit like that.

[–] Z_Poster365@hexbear.net 4 points 7 hours ago

This interview is conducted with fascists.

It's western news media interviewing Ukrainian soldiers, this is a redundant line.

[–] Belly_Beanis@hexbear.net 29 points 23 hours ago (1 children)

I can't tell if that's Zelenskyy or some guys cosplaying Zelenskyy.

The National Guard of Ukraine was recently reorganised into two 15,000 member Corps

that's about division size, unless ukraine uses smaller size for corps
2 fash divisions making up the national guard corps

[–] Awoo@hexbear.net 17 points 18 hours ago* (last edited 18 hours ago)

Ahh yes i stand corrected, either way not a brigade anymore. 2*15,000 fascists running are the entire national guard and they perform the same role the SS performed, they are not frontline deployed.

[–] DefinitelyNotAPhone@hexbear.net 18 points 23 hours ago

Ah, so that's where the leftover Brotherhood of Nod sets ended up!
