Khartiia is one of two fascist corps btw, it's not a brigade. The National Guard of Ukraine was recently reorganised into two 15,000 member Corps. One is Azov Corps (azov brigade no longer exists and is now a much larger fascist-led corps) and the other is Khartiia, also fascist-led.

The National Guard of Ukraine was recently reorganised into two 15,000 member Corps

that's about division size, unless ukraine uses smaller size for corps

Ahh yes i stand corrected, either way not a brigade anymore. 2*15,000 fascists running are the entire national guard and they perform the same role the SS performed, they are not frontline deployed.

I'm quite sure that they're a major component of the problem for bringing an end to the war. How do you form a post-war government when there's a 30,000 strong national guard of fascists that will coup it immediately?

The only way to bring peace to Ukraine is to eliminate the organisations of nazis. This guard will need to be disbanded as part of the peace agreements and then any insurgency they hold will need to be fought to destruction.

absolutely. If Russia's "denazification" rhetoric were to be believed (which we shouldn't believe at face value) then this should be a shared goal between Zelensky and Putin. Especially if the former wants to survive the war with his head.

Love the propaganda around Russia. In one source they're saying the Russian army is direly undermechanized and using wheelbarrows and horses for miles for logistics and the Russian army will soon collapse, and the other source says there's hyper deadly drone swarms and the end is nigh

I'm just like ok look at the map seems Russia has the most territory so.... 🤷‍♀️

No, the fiber wire stays out afterwards. It leaves a huge mess. There are photos of busy fields and hedge rows on telegram with a spider web of wire everywhere

Some missiles have wires like that but drones are a lot more manuverable. Do they get caught on things this way?

If the spool has the ability to spit out wire fast enough (faster than the drones top speed) with minimal latency (the spool can accelerate faster than the drone) it shouldn't be an issue with getting caught on static objects. The main concern would be getting the wire caught on moving objects, like cyclists/motorbikes, cars, tanks, etc. Then you could end up with scenarios where the wire can't be spooled out fast enough due to the movement of the object the wire is caught on. Apparently when Ukraine tested out this concept, they had big issues with that.

From what I understand of Russian telegrams that discuss this, fiber optic drones are most effectively used when you control the high ground (as with artillery). If you launch from the highest position in the surrounding 20km radius then you can hit wherever you want without the fiber optic cables touching anything outside of power lines and trees. If you use it in an urban area it's very different tactics.
