The way she spoke made me wonder if she's always sorta around but just not putting her voice in the pod. Like maybe she's been organizing guests, writing outlines, etc?

I don't think so? She lives in LA, and Matt and Felix had moved to LA as well so they probably still hang out. They never had a falling out, Amber just didn't want to do podcasting anymore.
