What you need to do instead is be civil. Which means you need to willingly let the fascists take over your country. In fact you should encourage them to do it, because platforming opposing viewpoints is actually the sign of civility. Yeah, I know, they might murder you, and me, and everyone we hold dear, but sometimes that's just the price you have to pay to maintain civility.

that's why so many in red and swing states are blocked from voting or gerrymandered from its impact and, having been one of them while i lived in texas, i learned the hard way that not accepting this fact that makes voting alone ineffective where it's needed the most is probably the biggest reason why things are guaranteed to get worse.
