If trump would drop the bigotry, I believe he would have been a very popular politician by American standards. Not that most voters have a problem with bigotry, they just don't like it out loud.

Honestly given how many grillboomers go "HE SAYS WHAT NEEDS TO BE SAID, HES HONEST" I think the bigotry gains him as many voters as it loses.

For sure. I just wonder how many libs would have peeled off if he didn't let the mask slip. I also feel like he would have beat Biden last time if it wasn't for COVID.
