I’ve always understood this site to be anti-gamer but for some reason I’ve always chosen to blind myself to the fact that many of you are just selfdepricating gamers.

You’re not really invested in the cause.

Gaming is one of thr few places people can attempt to taste a world without capitlaism. Like, everytime capitlaism touching gaming it gets worse. I am a shitty enough white guy that seeing capitlaism destroy NPCs primed me for radiclaization as a youth. Like I didn't yet know a better world was possible but I was tasked with creating a better world for the pixels in my care and I got to see first hand how liberalism was a failing tech tree.

That's getting a lot harder to do with the "live service" always online season pass driven hypermonetized trash choking up much of the industry.
