On eBay they now prompt you on what to write for feedback.

I'm guessing all these companies were dumb enough to buy into the AI rub pull and are now desperately trying to find uses for it to justify their purchase.

What is worse is the ebay item descriptions have an AI prompt now. Love to buy stuff based on whatever lies an AI determined through A/B tested will sell more. Sure drop shippers have been doing that for a while but at least could trust that someone selling a used item was probably just lazily copypasting off a product page or off another seller who did but now the path of least resistance is to press the AI bullshitter button.

It’s not necessarily new. IIRC, old school Facebook circa 2010 used to have “I’m thinking…” in the box where you typed a status update (post).
