While Drakengard 1 was agonising to play 3 very much feels like the Nier series with a lot of what makes replicant and automata so enjoyable. Emulating it at 60fps it's quite a fun game I imagine less so at the 10fps the ps3 achieves

Idk if I set it up wrong or it's just my oldish computer but I can't get more than 20-25 fps. It's the one thing keeping me from finishing the game.
Yeah, there's a lot wrong with Yoko Taro. Are you going for all the endings?
I always do and I will want to eat my controller doing it. At least buying and upgrading weapons in 3 is a bit nicer than finding all the weapons in 1 which i needed a guide for
I got a refurbished PS3 for this and mgs4...I still can't find a copy locally for an impulse buy
I thought about starting that back on the Triple, but I looked at the cover and thought "this looks horny" and played something else.
That dragon on the cover is way too curvy
This is what keeps a lot of people away from replicant and automata but there is absolutely nothing horny about the games whatsoever the characters just look like that. Underneath is actually very well made characters, brilliant writing and an evocative story with lots of unique gameplay elements if a little clunky.
It wouldn't be completely inaccurate to say D3 in particular is horny, but it's not the titillating type of horny, it's more of a "I am once again asking what the fuck is wrong with Yoko Taro" way.
