Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Ok, bye! Don't let the door hit you in the ass on your way out.

[–] FuglyDuck@lemmy.world 44 points 11 months ago (2 children)

[–] Bennettiquette@lemmy.world 12 points 11 months ago (2 children)

To prove that Donald Trump is indeed a manly man, Vivek Ramaswamy will suck every cock in Maine.

Don't threaten me with a good time!

[–] cheese_greater@lemmy.world 18 points 11 months ago* (last edited 11 months ago)

Always such a joy when we get to bust that one out :)

Its like, "Wait, you're threatening me with 1) having my cake and 2) getting to eat it too?

Where do I sign?!

[–] ZeroCool@slrpnk.net 82 points 11 months ago* (last edited 11 months ago) (1 children)

Vivek Ramaswamy's campaign also stopped all TV ad spending with less than a month to go before Iowa and New Hampshire. So yeah, this is the only way he can get any attention right now before he drops out in February and tries to become a right wing media personality.

[–] cheese_greater@lemmy.world 17 points 11 months ago (10 children)

Genuine question: what do righty folks actually think of him? Like its painful to watch him act like he's part of the gang...

[–] Gruntyfish@lemmy.world 15 points 11 months ago

Anecdotal, but my grandma who is very racist and conservative was confused why he was running because only natural born citizens can be president. Needless to say she was disappointed when I told her that he was born in Cincinnati.

You gotta hand it to the guy for getting his entry in for "least menacing threat of 2023" just under the wire.

[–] FuglyDuck@lemmy.world 50 points 11 months ago* (last edited 11 months ago) (3 children)

he's hoping Trump will look at all his loyalty and overlook the fact that his skin is the wrong shade, and ask him to be his VP.

the thing is, Trump is a racist and will never over look that, the other thing is, Vivek is primarying against trump, and he's going to not over look that too.

Yeah! The GOP candidates should all show some solidarity and remove themselves from the electoral process completely! Stick it to the libs!

[–] ElBarto@sh.itjust.works 63 points 11 months ago* (last edited 11 months ago) (2 children)

This guys political moves are based on this meme.

[–] cogman@lemmy.world 48 points 11 months ago

He knows he's not winning. This is either to try and be Trumps VP, or is to promote his books and podcast (or both).

Okay that was always allowed.

[–] Bwaz@lemmy.world 55 points 11 months ago

Two turds, one stone.

[–] Furedadmins@lemmy.world 52 points 11 months ago

He will get the same number of votes either way.

[–] Bdtrngl@lemmy.world 46 points 11 months ago
[–] EdibleFriend@lemmy.world 45 points 11 months ago

He hurt himself in confusion!

[–] AlfredEinstein@lemmy.world 40 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Beta cuck is running for VP

SAD!

[–] elbarto777@lemmy.world 19 points 11 months ago (3 children)

Fascist piece of shit is race traitor, too dumb to realize he doesn't fit in with the GOP's plans for America's future.

He knows he doesn't stand a chance in the primary so he's setting up a way to lose that he can try to blame on the Democrats.

“Vivek Ramaswamy Vows Not to Be on Any Ballots if Not Invited to Next Debate.”

[–] WaxedWookie@lemmy.world 26 points 11 months ago

Oh no ...anyway.

This must be that leftist virtue signalling I heard so much about a couple of years back.

[–] lingh0e@sh.itjust.works 23 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Dude, if you want to be Trump's VP pick, just ask.

[–] ilinamorato@lemmy.world 15 points 11 months ago

Trump will be like "Ok, but you gotta change your name to Vince Ramaswamadingdong. I can't pronounce the other one."

[–] drdabbles@lemmy.world 17 points 11 months ago

Look! A scapegoat!

For a dude that pretends truth matters, he hasn't even accidentally told it once.

[–] z3rOR0ne@lemmy.ml 15 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Oh good. A two for one. Any other Republican Candidates want to join Vivek?...No....? Come on...do it.

[–] prole@sh.itjust.works 14 points 11 months ago

Oh no. Anyway.

[–] RozhkiNozhki@lemmy.world 14 points 11 months ago* (last edited 11 months ago)

Do it Vivek, we're rooting for you.

[–] kryptonianCodeMonkey@lemmy.world 13 points 11 months ago

Don't threaten me with a good time

[–] wheeldawg@sh.itjust.works 13 points 11 months ago

Is that supposed to be a consequence people take seriously?

Tell me you want to lose an election without telling me. Clearly you're only in it to make the number of people trump beat higher. Actively does not want to win.

[–] ersatz@infosec.pub 13 points 11 months ago (1 children)

This is the messaging of a loser who knows he has no chance to win, but still wants to suck the ugly sweaty dick of the frontrunner. No one cares dude, you have no chance of getting 1% of the vote, even if trump is cast off the ballot.. You have even less chance if he is on it.

I don't see any drawback to it. Why not make a bigger protest and withdraw from all 50 states? It's not like he needs them, since he is running for VP.

[–] edgemaster72@lemmy.world 11 points 11 months ago

Don't stop there, own the libs by vowing not to be on the general election ballot either

[–] preludeofme@lemmy.world 10 points 11 months ago
[–] ilinamorato@lemmy.world 10 points 11 months ago

Does he think this will convince anyone to change their decision?
