R/nfl is surprisingly based sometimes. After the whole right wing chud exodus it's mostly apolitical grill pulled, libs, and a few leftists.

The NFL has some of the most egregious and obvious military propaganda found anywhere. Not surprising that some redditors pick up on it and view it cynically. Turbolibs and their bots also probably aren't patrolling the subs unrelated to politics, so good shit like this can slip through.

It's cultural for me, most of the league is Black so therefore it naturally comes with a lot of Black culture. Same for basketball.
