I don't get it she picked a hot gamer boyfriend, what were the other two wishes?

instant gender transition, 100% effectiveness covid mask
the dream
Two bracelets
I too wish that people in public places would mask. Good wish, dude, you deserve those video games
I think I'm gonna pick up Baldurs Gate 3
can't recommend it enough, definitely one of the games of all time
I got FTL for $2.50 and finally pulled the trigger on Dwarf Fortress even though the discount wasn't great, I know the devs are trying to afford cancer treatment in Hellworld.
FTL is really good, halberds go brrrrr
Yeah my only regret is not trying it years ago, just installed the Multiverse mod after completing a couple runs and it's wild how much content is added.
If I used my immunity-from-contracting-and-transmitting diseases wish on myself and my partner, I would mask anyways because explaining that I don't need to wear a mask because a supernatural force granted me 3 wishes is harder than just showing people that hot gamers should mask too
I wish the sales were as awesome as they were a decade ago.
That said, I’m thinking about picking up Balatro, but I feel no urgency to care since it’s only 10% off. Like, that $1.50 difference isn’t all that compelling.
I miss the more frequent 90% sales
I'll put it on google drive if you want, it's like 150mb.
Picked up Celeste and Prison Architect bc they cost next to nothing
Got Disco Elysium for my partner
And most importantly I got Workers and Resources Soviet Republic which is so fucking addictive and I can’t pull myself away from it
I bought deep rock galactic and have lost an average of three hours of sleep per night. I also bought class of '09 and I'm excited to try that.
Money is really tight, so probably gonna keep playing Darkest Dungeon and finish up my second playthrough of Digimon: Cybersleuth.
i got the Vicky DLC, fallout 1, 2, and tactics bundle, probably gonna pull the trigger on workers and resources too. also I'm gonna get divinity 2 and try out the co-op with my gf
Very happy for the guy in the picture. Both that he can afford a 4090 and that his fuses can apparently handle a 4090.
I bought celeste like a week before it went on sale :<
I hate when that happens :/
Check out the size of

that video card box!
Yhea; Is that guy tiny or Is that videocard huge? Also that shape Is unusual for a videocard.
Yhea; Is that guy tiny or Is that videocard huge?
the retail box is pretty big and that's not even the same edition as the one he's holding in the pic
Some great deals for great games:
Gothic 1, 2 and 3 - 4€
STALKER Shadow of Chernobyl - 4€
Disco Elysium - 4€ but apparently you should pirate it
TES III: Morrowind - 6€
Monster Train - 7€
Witcher 3 - 3€
TES III: Morrowind - 6€
There's a currently a Humble Bundle with Morrowind and a bunch of other games, though. https://www.humblebundle.com/games/summer-games-done-quick-2024
OpenMW might be a better pick, lots of stuff you usually mod into BethMW is built into OpenMW, like shadows, UI improvements, optimization, etc. It also runs much smoother.
ps5, 4090 AND a cool shirt? hell yeah
I picked up a legitimate copy of Hitman World of Assassination, which is games 1-3 of the current reboot. It was about 30 instead of about 90. I had recently pirated it after hearing its praises by the likes of Tim Rogers on the Insert Credits podcast. It's a hoot. It's a great sandbox and I'm even having fun when I lose. It's equally satisfying to pull off an intricate assassination as it is to scramble to try and recover a situation that's rapidly unraveling. Getting a legit copy gave me most of the game modes and challenges.
I'm kinda salty that I'd still have to pay full price for WoA even if I own all of Hitman 2 + Hitman 1 (the latter as add-ons for 2) >:(
if I get a job before the sale ends I might buy it as celebration

Insert Credits
Damn, those are some names I haven't heard in a very long time.
I've only recently gotten into them. Thanks to my superpower of being able to listen to a full audiobook every day at my job, I've listened to scores of backlog.
Can't wait for Tim to put out another video any year now
The box for that video card is bigger than my entire computer tower
Bought Disco Elysium and BG3 for my gf, and Tavern Master and Colony Ship for myself
What kinds of genres are you interested in? I can make some recs.
As for personal pickups, got MGR and Pizza Tower. I also bought Fear and Hunger 1 and 2, I am sus of them but a Survival Horror JRPG sounds too interesting to overlook at their prices. Grabbed Tunic as well, Crow Country, and Hylics 2. Also grabbed Faith: The Unholy Trinity and Crosscode with New Home for easier Steam Deck use.
Pthologic 2 Bachelor route isn't out yet so no.
i always wait until the last days because some stuff isn't discounted until then
the deep discounts page is pretty nuts this year, too bad i have everything i want off the list
i picked up terra invicta for 30% off, it's pretty neat. the mod team that did Long War for XCom 2 built a 4x grand strategy with an alien invasion layer to give you a long-term goal beyond simple 'turn map my color' domination. get your research pumping, mine asteroids and the moon, develop a defense fleet to repel the aliens camping out beyond pluto's orbit, all while turning the whole solar system your color!
I'm going to recommend some lesser known games.
- Lunistice, a 3D platformer with a 90s polygon graphics aesthetic.
- Star of Providence, a roguelike twin stick shmup. Used to be known as Monolith until they changed it for copyright reasons, but the cool thing is that there used to be DLC, but it's now included with the game.
- Ex-Zodiac: what if Nintendo actually made a good new Star Fox game? I think this one is a little too difficult, but it's still worth playing.
