Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). 3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. 4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

It pleases me to know that Kamala Harris lives rent-free in his head.

[–] xkbx@startrek.website 47 points 1 month ago

He suffers from Kamala derangement syndrome

[–] whostosay@lemmy.world 17 points 1 month ago (3 children)

I love this thought, but something has always bothered me about the phrase "living rent free in x head"

I can't even explain why I just hate it

[–] joyjoy@lemm.ee 49 points 1 month ago (1 children)

So the phase "living rent free in my head" is living rent free in your head.

[–] whostosay@lemmy.world 24 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

I'm not here to tell you you're wrong, but go fuck yourself, friend.

edit: In my defense, I only really get upset about it when I see it, other than that the phrase is chillin somewhere.

You still may be right tho

[–] bcgm3@lemmy.world 5 points 1 month ago (6 children)

I know just what you mean, but also it sounds like poetry compared to "Ohio skibidi rizz."

That phrase doesn't bother me, but I can understand the sentiment. People tend to use the same "clever" phrases over and over, and when there is a phrase you don't particularly like, you end up hating it after the 100th time.

In my case, it's "looking at you, X" where X is not a person. E.g. "I'm looking at you, Unity framework!"

Or whenever there is a post about a wholesome prank, someone will always comment "See? This is a good prank. Nobody got hurt, everyone laughs." At this point, I'm inclined to think that people deliberately do it as a version of "First post!!"

Love the ad on the rsbn clip, says alot about his followers I guess

[–] AnarchoSnowPlow@midwest.social 24 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Ha! That's wild. You can literally just buy it at the farm store in town here.

I'm sure it's far cheaper there too.

[–] TimLovesTech@badatbeing.social 18 points 1 month ago

You could, but then the money goes to some business instead of a grifter. Don't you love America?! /s

[–] _bcron@midwest.social 17 points 1 month ago (1 children)
[–] wreel@lemmy.sdf.org 3 points 1 month ago

We've got you covered

[–] localme@lemm.ee 15 points 1 month ago (1 children)

That’s not a real ad right?? That’s gotta be KHQ team having some Idiocracy-style fun with their tweet… right??

[–] BlueEther@no.lastname.nz 20 points 1 month ago (1 children)
[–] localme@lemm.ee 12 points 1 month ago

Well I’ll be damned. I can’t even with these people lol

And thanks, huge props for providing the receipts so quickly!

[–] WhatYouNeed@lemmy.world 12 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Is he...standing in front of giant toilet paper rolls?

[–] Whats_your_reasoning@lemmy.world 10 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Gotta be prepared for all the shit that’s about to spew out his mouth.

[–] wildcardology@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago

Also to clean him up when his diaper gets full.

[–] partial_accumen@lemmy.world 54 points 1 month ago

Quote from the article applied at the relevant point of the prayer.

The Narcissist's Prayer

That didn't happen. <--- "The people that you see leaving? Because nobody ever leaves,"-Trump

And if it did, it wasn't that bad. <--- "people were actually lining up in the back for photos since he couldn’t pose for pictures earlier."-Trump

And if it was, that's not a big deal. <--- "And when they do, I finish up quick." -Trump

And if it is, that's not my fault. <--- Trump then suggested that his staffers were to blame for the apparent departures

And if it was, I didn't mean it.

And if I did, you deserved it.

[–] ininewcrow@lemmy.ca 52 points 1 month ago (4 children)

After years of listening to this nutjob .... he isn't the idiot any more

We are for putting up with him and just giving him a platform to speak to everyone as if everything he said had some sort of importance or even common sense.

[–] bitwaba@lemmy.world 15 points 1 month ago

That has been the case since 2016.

[–] saddlebag@lemmy.world 9 points 1 month ago

Totally agree. American people have proven that they will vote for the most rotten cunt possible as long they’re racist and misogynistic enough. You here are dozens of mini-trumps all over the US. This election is a short term requirement that he loses but the work will take years or decades. I hope for the future of mankind

[–] bcgm3@lemmy.world 4 points 1 month ago (1 children)

He's like a train wreck that just keeps on wrecking, forever. You'd think the novelty would have worn off years ago, but... We just keep looking.

[–] irreticent@lemmy.world 4 points 1 month ago

We just keep looking.

Sometimes I try to look away but feel like it's still being forced on me.

"Theyre just so excited they can't sit still. These people they have to get up and run around. We have the fastest runners. They get up and run and sometimes they leave but they come back they always come back. I met one guy he left and he came back he said "they're not doing it like you over there. They are not good." And I said I know."

[–] NegativeInf@lemmy.world 40 points 1 month ago (1 children)

I had to Google this to make sure it wasn't real.

So good job!

[–] Gerudo@lemm.ee 9 points 1 month ago (1 children)

So is it real? I hate that I have to ask this.

[–] ThePowerOfGeek@lemmy.world 38 points 1 month ago (2 children)

Good grief, she said that weeks ago! That little comment permanently damaged his ego on a profound level, didn't it.

[–] TimLovesTech@badatbeing.social 17 points 1 month ago

His crowd (cult) is a measure of his self worth. He surrounds himself with people that will shower him with praise, and attacks anyone that doesn't feed his ego. If he hadn't started a life of crime so early, he probably would have loved setting up a compound and just living out his days with a cult to control and have them heap praise on him every second of every day.

[–] xmunk@sh.itjust.works 37 points 1 month ago

"They're not leaving. They're just heading to my next rally and making sure they get good seats."

Probably what this clown's narcissism is feeding his brain.

[–] jaggedrobotpubes@lemmy.world 27 points 1 month ago (2 children)
[–] Rhoeri@lemmy.world 13 points 1 month ago (1 children)

For me, sad requires sympathy. He’s pathetic.

[–] DragonTypeWyvern@midwest.social 7 points 1 month ago

That implies pity, which is a form of empathy.

[–] thebigslime@lemmy.world 9 points 1 month ago

Alexa, play "Despacito".

[–] ShaggySnacks@lemmy.myserv.one 26 points 1 month ago

The audience is going to get a pack of smokes/some milk. Just like my Dad was going to do, 29 years ago.

[–] Thebeardedsinglemalt@lemmy.world 26 points 1 month ago

Person clearly in denial keeps claiming he's totally not in denial

[–] MyOpinion@lemm.ee 16 points 1 month ago

Trump and his alternate facts.

[–] some_guy@lemmy.sdf.org 12 points 1 month ago

They're going to get a beer and a hotdog but they'll be right back.

[–] pjwestin@lemmy.world 11 points 1 month ago

This is stupid and petty, but it is very satisfying to see he's still stuck on this nearly 3 weeks after the debate.

[–] FuglyDuck@lemmy.world 5 points 1 month ago

They're not leaving. His sharpie has just run out of ink in the later photos.

[–] NatakuNox@lemmy.world 4 points 1 month ago (1 children)

(read in Trump's voice)

Their going to take a poo they'll be right back... Ya right back when America was great again... When women knew their place and tough white Christian men wouldn't be canceled for burning a cross on an ethnic persons lawn... Kamabla wants to eat your babies as they come out of the womb... Oh yes it's true...

[–] Localhorst86@feddit.org 8 points 1 month ago

Too coherent. It needs more rambling off in random directions, maybe think about electrocuting a sinking shark or smth

[–] zqwzzle@lemmy.ca 4 points 1 month ago

True they could be changing their trump brand diapers.

[–] linearchaos@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago

They're just going out for smokes, they'll brb
