The page looks simple enough, probably could script a bunch of random fake people into the list with random but valid addresses. Who knows if they have any kind of bot protection though.

Is this actually vote buying?

I'm discussing this with some libs and they are frothing about the legality of this. I'm trying to understand the correlation between signing a fake petition and selling your vote...

EDIT: The illegal part is paying people to get registered. I just realized i was kind of overlooking that aspect.

They're going to check it against a list of registered voters and throw out any BS entries. You're wasting your time, it's trivial to filter the list.

edit: and yea they get your voting history too so you and I are not winning the Million dollars and probably won't get paid at all.

States have varied requirements on who is eligible to request a list of voters, what information the list contains, what information is kept confidential and how the information contained in voter lists may be used.

This means that the "battleground" states have rigorous rules and regulations that are actually enforced about this, right? anakin-padme-2
