Of course, as soon as Lemmygrad determines their party line on indoor/outdoor cats.

INDOOR ONLY. Outdoor cats are responsible for the destruction of native species.

outdoor-cat

spoilerThis is the correct take.

All Cats Are Beautiful

REVISIONISM! Cats in harnesses and on leashes may roam outside under supervision.

[–] boiledfrog@hexbear.net 5 points 6 days ago (1 children)

Would cats be allowed outside if we had a non-fractured ecosystem? Like I don'tdeny the destructive force of kittywittys biblically-accurate-kitty but I feel it's nothing compared to agricultural practices and the loss of habitat space.

While that's a good point, housecats still aren't native to most places humans live. If you had befriended a native wild species of cat, that would be different, especially if you didn't feed it and it just did its thing during the day to get a meal. However, a typical housecat isn't hunting for food, but for sport, and they have a voracious appetite for killing.

Speaking for Lemmygrad, we intend to delay a decision indefinitely to prevent a split (definitely not because we aren't ready for the struggle session), because we love our Hexbear comrades care

Badposting is over there

Seriously, this will never happen because we are comrades

No darling; I'd still love you if you were a worm

Hexbear + Lemmygrad 4 lyfe

[–] FunkyStuff@hexbear.net 44 points 1 week ago (2 children)

I think the Hexbear-Lemmygrad split has to come about for the silliest possible reason. I suggest that this whole dunk_tank ordeal will escalate to DDoS attacks and people poisoning the database, which leads to a Hexbear civil war that ends with new admins. The admins are Bordigists. I don't know what happens from there.

[–] HomoSexualTransStalinist@hexbear.net 25 points 1 week ago (2 children)

DDoS attacks

I mean that already happened once when we defedded blahaj

[–] FunkyStuff@hexbear.net 21 points 1 week ago

Yeah but this time the call will come from inside the house after a power poster's counterpropaganda post was removed for not being wordy enough.

[–] RedWizard@hexbear.net 2 points 6 days ago (1 children)

Yeah, someone, presumably a blahaj user, ddossed thd entire site for like an hour or two about half an hour before we were set to defed them

LG will hack HB and swap all the shortcuts for emojis so they always post the incorrect image.

HB will retaliate by hacking LG and making it so each letter of the alphabet is automatically replaced by a different, randomized emoji.

The fallout will be glorious.

[–] Lemmygradwontallowme@hexbear.net 32 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Why you even talkin' about it? Even if there's going to be a split, lad, it's not gonna have like Hexbear will ally with .world and nazijustworks to fight you all

Besides, we're like Democrats and Republicans, in terms of differences...

[–] propter_hog@hexbear.net 10 points 1 week ago (2 children)

So Hexbear is pro choice and Lemmygrad is pro life?

[–] Shinhoshi@lemmygrad.ml 25 points 1 week ago

We are pro life. Pro Palestinian lives, pro women's lives, pro trans lives, etc.

The fascists waiting to round us up into concentration camps don't get to call themselves "pro life".

[–] Lemmygradwontallowme@hexbear.net 15 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

Mere cultural differences, similar economic and foreign policy interests

[–] FlakesBongler@hexbear.net 31 points 1 week ago

I can start building some bunkers, I know how to mix concrete

No, we have learned from the mistakes of the class.

[–] queermunist@lemmy.ml 24 points 1 week ago (1 children)

lemmy.ml is clearly the bunker pilled instance

[–] ProletarianDictator@hexbear.net 12 points 6 days ago

Lemmygrad is USSR. Hexbear is PRC. Lemmy.ml is Yugoslavia
