It's uh not good. He's in the living room rn and he never goes in there, he fell over and his breathing is pretty rapid. I think he's going to go today ah fuck me

An update he's still in the living room but he's pretty out of it, whenever he gets up he falls back over. I went outside and started digging a hole for him just in case, I'm trying to keep and eye on him but he keeps hiding on me and that's not a good sign, they hide when they're sick or dying.

I'm so sorry! If you can, take him to a vet to consider euthanasia. Those symptoms are compatible with heart failure and it is very traumatic for everyone involved.

I'm so sorry! Our cat died a year and a half ago (she was old, it was kidney failure) and I still miss her. I've enjoyed every picture of Mr. Softie you've posted, he seems like a wonderful gentleman and I'm so sorry it's his time to go. Please be kind to yourself today and give Mr. Softie a pet from me before he goes, would you? 
We put my cat of 17 years to sleep yesterday and I wouldn't wish this sort of misery on my worst enemy. I'm so sorry. to you and Mr. Softie

Mr. Softie is a real one. I hope he pulls through or goes fast either way. It's tough to lose a buddy like this but I have seen how much you love this cat and I'm sure he feels it too. You gave him a great life full of love

God I'm so sorry. I just went through something similar with my boy and it was awful. I hope if he does go it's fast and painless, and I hope you heal from your loss in due time.
