I'm an internet janitor on a niche gaming forum and each user has a page for moderators to see all actions and notes against that user as well as multiple options for warnings, bans, restrictions.

I would be fine with that here

Isn’t the status quo with Lemmy to use voting to sink and fold low quality posts?

No downvotes on hexbear. So no, it's not the status quo here.

You're getting pushback because we don't put a lot of value in civility here and the best way to disagree or criticize someone is to post about it.

Someone i have a lot of respect for bought into doge at one of its peaks and almost convinced me to do the same.

I didn't, thankfully, and now i get to ask him randomly "hey how's your doge doing?" And piss him off

Like "hey can i buy drugs?" Mistaken or accosted by the cops?

The amount of times I've heard that I'm being talked about behind my back based on information i revealed without thinking is... Well more than once at least

Once again this comes down to allistic people being afraid to be honest or vulnerable. If i ask you to go for dinner and you say no i have all the bad feelings of rejection and shame. If i say "are you hungry?" And you say not really i can still continue as if i wasn't rejected.

It used to be an innuendo to ask a person "would you like to see my etchings(drawings)?" I remember a teacher of mine finding old newspaper comics that reinforced this

Every screening and official diagnostic I've taken has me scoring max ADHD points and every time someone describes a symptom I'm left confused that other people don't have them.

Will my personality change? I feel like being a disorganized disheveled loud interrupter is most of my personality at this point idk.

I've never done any stimulants beyond drinking a million coffees per day so i have some anxiety about this

I've seen a few posts recently calling people out for using "they" when referring to someone with gendered or neo pronouns.

As a long time dumb guy I was under the impression that gender neutral pronouns were basically always acceptable and I'm now concerned that I have been unintentionally making people uncomfortable.

My current understanding based on context is that once someone has made their pronouns known, unless specifically included, 'they' is no longer acceptable. Thank you in advance for taking the time to help me out
