The heart of western philosophy is linear, eternal accumulation. This belief is the ultimate western truth.

I hear people say they think it pushes the country to the left somehow, even though when I point out all the recent Dem election wins, they just blame Republicans for sabatoging everything. In other words, they just don't pay attention and are deeply unserious but still have a moral stake somehow.

Yeah its just that if you suggest this people treat you like you are insane. People love to bring up privilege and revoke your "ally card" and whatnot as if third party voters and politically aware non-voters haven't heard it all for decades. The conversation is always so stale. It's so hard to convince people the election is a red herring. I can't even bring myself to judge people anywhere near as harshly based on the election because it just isn't that important.

All this does is invite people to use ML as bait to draw them through the gates of hell. There is no ideology you can call yourself that frees you from criticism.

I will say however, that MLs, whether they are ideologically agreeable or shakey, likely understand the stakes and will quickly reject a lot of bait your average liberal will take. Still, there are a number of things that can be used to create a pipeline that draws marxists to neoliberalism and we would do well to know we are not free from propaganda or the processes of capital. Workers have been used to advance empire and we can be certain this is not limited to a distant past.

It can’t be a proletarian ideology if it reproduces the behaviors of bourgeois ideology: that of being inaccessible in language, requiring years and years of studies to even start to grasp, requiring the reading of earlier philosophers in an academic manner (pouring over every word), and attaching itself not to the substance – despite what patsocs say they do – but to the form.

Lmao having a vocabulary is bourgeoisie. You seem to have a an anti-intellectual view of academia. Tell me, do you think the world is understandable to a proletarian because the world carries with it an affectation of simplicity that can work with the proletarian character, or because proletarians simple must engage with the world?

Also it's just wrong to say academics pour over every word. Do you think people can read hundreds of books that way and get anywhere? Please return your caricature of academics to wherever you found it.

I guess that questioning of the artifical legitimacy is why we are watching all the "bleeding hearts" turn into George Bush.

I am extremely jade about this. A lot of action that is taken can be reduced down to anxiety relief and identy expression. Anarchists and many leftist types fetishize action but imo it just increases the amount of masterbatory, self serving actions that are more about profile building than anything else.

There is the trope that western leftists don't do anything. Haha... Well it's actually a lot worse than that I'm afraid. It's also that the actions that are taken are also undignified. It's not just a lack of organization or action that holds us back.

Damn when did all the nukes disappear?

This is complete bullshit. Unhinged stupidity.

Id try it out for sure. Do I need to get a new Huawei phone?
