This is incredibly disingenuous. Nutrition is incorporated into most of the medical curriculum. Biochemistry is an entire course. I am involved in discussions with dieticians every day, frequently having to correct their misconceptions, not as the one getting corrected.

Furthermore it is quite simply not that complicated once you drill down past the bullshit and stick to what we actually know. Eleven hours is more than enough dedicated classroom time, once you account for the 4-5 outside hours spent reading in preparation per hour of discussion.

This is a hit piece written by people with an agenda, with all the subtlety of a nurse claiming she saves the lives of her patients every day by protecting them from the evil, cruel physicians. And this agenda is similarly complete bullshit.

The interview he did in the middle of that push to paint him as more progressive than FDR where he described his own personal ideal presidency as being Reagan reborn; man I nearly pissed myself laughing. It still makes me giggle thinking about the looks on the faces of his staffers.

I can translate. "Abortion on demand" means "without bullshit red tape, multiple visits, gate-keeping, unnecessary expenses and guilt-tripping."

Apparently equivalency to any other medical procedure is unthinkable. And that's with access to healthcare being absolute dog shit here as it is.

Israel's legacy will be overshadowing the historical useage of the word holocaust with the very one they are so proudly, so publicly currently carrying out, and simultaneously erasing any blurred lines between Judaism and this horrifying, what would you even call this now? I saw retired Colonel Douglas MacGregor refer to Israel as conducting a war for Zionist Supremacy. They seem to take pride in staking out a morally indefensible position.

This seems to be the swan song for Israel, certainly, but I do not understand the George Bush with us or against us style determination of these zealots to take every believer of their faith down with them for what is not a religious belief but an insanely irrational, suicidal, racist grudge against Arabs for the unforgivable crime of currently existing where Judaism may have originated and up until the Zionist movement, was peacefully coexisting alongside without issue.

So great to be standing shoulder to shoulder with this failson country that has a formal military policy of trying to nuke the rest of the world to take everyone down with them if it looks like they're going to lose. I think they call it the Samson option or Samson doctrine or something because biblical references to mass murder are very cool and normal things for militaries with nuclear capabilities to have.

Medically this makes zero sense for her age unless it's for a relative or spouse, or as a flex.

Paramedics are nice to have around, but really only dramatically better than an attentive bystander with a cell phone for sudden cardiac death and selected cases of massive physical trauma, she can afford an internal pacemaker defibrillator for one and I don't know why she would be worried about the other.

Given libs being libs I almost want to bet this is the laziest form of nepotism and the paramedic is her nephew or something getting federal overtime.

The gerontocracy is particularly insulting as the life span for younger Americans continues to drop for what, the fifth or sixth year in a row? It's now 62 where I live. This is some real dark crystal bullshit, can't wait for Biden to call us all gelflings during the state of the union.

Anyone else remember the overwhelming sense of horror and despair when they realized reading their twitter feed had slowly become literally all the research and investigation journalists did anymore?

And now looking back that was so much better than what we're left with these days.

Sorry, I'm afraid you're simply too handsome and charismatic for our failson line of PMC sinecures.

I am a doctor, this is medical advice.

Please don't. You know why. You know exactly why. Lithium isn't fun. It's not supposed to be fun. It's a shitty treatment for an even worse disease. Please.

Don't pee on the electric fence.

Look just hear me out, but ... uncritical support.

Every time I try to deny my German heritage I'll read some shit like this and have a terrifying realization that some behavioral traits must actually be heritable somehow??! Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to go drown some sausages in mustard.

Not quite the reference I had in mind.

A few million dollars is nothing in comparison to the effect releasing a weaponized agent would cause. There is a reason why the United States is the only country lawless enough to allow biowarfare research to continue. I maintain that you would not even need that much money if you weren't too picky about the final product. You could Tiger King your way to a meth lab grade bioweapon for 100k.

If Gregor Mendel could do it, nearly anyone with lab experience could do the same with yersinia taken from your friendly neighborhood Prairie dog. Or a state level actor could go to the ivory coast.
