it's really unfortunate that the ones who are supposed to treasure and protect us so often are our first and worst bullies. I'm so sorry that you have to go through this dear. Stay strong there will soon be a time when you are no longer under that petty tyrant's domain and your spirit will soar.

elon the kind of mind to cheat and justify it to himself by saying everyone else cheats so he's just leveling the field.

I liked the caddies. They felt very computery which i enjoyed.

My first was a WORM magneto optical drive that used caddies in i guess 1988. They were already pretty cheap by then - $5 per caddy and $6-8 per WORM disc - but with downloads limited by the 2400 baud modem I never really had much to put on em! It played compact discs and read CD-ROM media as well so mostly it played the beach boys and Myst!

domestic water pressure varies around 30-80 PSI. Faucet has to deal with smoothly managing that pressure at all times (on 2 lines) while allowing selective amounts out daily for years.

The $12 ones on Ali Express will leak and break within a year. That $60 Kohler faucet may go 10 years before you need to replace a washer and 20 years with no issues before it gets replaced. Kohler faucets also have a limited lifetime warranty against leaks. I assume other higher end manufacturers offer something similar.

When measured against the expected use it's a pretty good bargain unless you get one that's super fancy with unnecessary add ons.

you sound really down on yourself for not achieving 100%. But what i'm reading is a person working really hard on self improvement. Going to the gym, trying to be healthy, checking in on and caring for family even though they are toxic.. these are all admirable traits that you should feel proud of. I know it's difficult when you have expectations and struggle meeting them but don't be too hard on yourself; try to give your own self the same grace you would give to others! And celebrate the wins! Just going to the gym puts you way up there. Acknowledging and working on your drinking is progress. I hope you feel better!!

you're not a downer!! proud of you and your gains. I can sympathize with your confusing feelings too, i'm having similar issues that i'm hoping are just meds related. C'est la vie! Good luck!
