I will add something I haven't seen here that may help.

First off, you're in the right.

It's possible that the wording and tone you used were different than this person usually deals with. Eastern Europeans in my experience are much more direct, in a way that can come off as aggressive- to Americans. Many if not most Americans are not used to this, they're much more passive-aggressive, are used to changing up their word choice and tone with different audiences and subject matters, often trying to avoid confrontation. So saying your thoughts clearly to them may have actually seemed like you were attacking their beliefs. Challenging someone's thought processes, especially around politics, is something Americans often don't deal with outside of confrontation. You're not supposed to think about that, you feel right or wrong. Interrogating what you believe to attempt to come up with a better political view is never spoken of here in the mainstream, that's a very foreign concept I usually only see in leftists, go figure. Of course there are still many Americans that aren't like this, but I thought I'd offer this up as a possibility.

Ohh I hear you. I do wish more people would reflect like you have on the promises Biden gave and the administration we got. Amnesia has taken hold.

I'd also be voting for her if she vowed to change course. Funny how you can get my vote that way.

"I have no where else to go except my home in Denver and the rest of this country probably and maybe Europe too. And maybe also elsewhere"

No doubt antisemitism is a problem in the US though you're probably still more at risk of violence as a high school student. And further, would you rather live in a place where you're at risk of being blown up and need to blow up other people to stay there, or the US where that's not so much a fact of life? (though admittedly on land that was itself taken through genocide)

No doubt, though a suspension of arms sales until a ceasefire is reached does seem more feasible than an outright change in policy irt Israel

Wonder what the reason for that law is. Would've been a good year for that coalition to form, though I don't otherwise think they'll be doing that soon.

Gotta wonder how things would work here with a parliamentary system

How stupid of an idea is: any 3rd party running in this election disband their current campaigns, join together, and run as the single issue Stop the Genocide Party? I had a thought and doubt it's possible but if there were a time to make a serious alternative for a single, time-sensitive issue to run on now is the time

I hated it too.

I'm getting some weird memory that could be completely wrong but I believe my sister was showing me these and excitedly said "this is banned in Cuba!" I was always disgusted by it despite liking "edgy" humor like idk aqua team or whatever and if Cuba banned it, good, though I'm struggling to imagine why that would happen beyond there being poor internet access or just blocking American IPs

Thanks for the response. And christ.

I am worried that this is the scenario for my mom who's been in the hospital since January and even though she can't walk is going to be forced out at the end of next month because insurance is running out. Good country.

but if I genuinely believed she'd try to stop the genocide I'd hold my nose and voted for her, I've (I'm embarrassed to admit in such a cool radical space)

That's nothing to be embarrassed about, if that were a campaign promise (though her being the current VP and the genocide still going on would be fucked in it's own right) then that's a real reason to actually vote, it's something actionable and would help millions, tangibly by allowing them to live, if ever voting in this hellscape mattered that's a compelling reason to. I'm sure many of us were ready to vote for Bernie because of his campaign promises and like that campaign, of course we can't have that, because this democracy is a farce

Yes, this , 100-com

We need you around, comrades!

I was a bike courier for a bit and very few wore them, though I always did. People got concussions and didn't care, but they may later on. I ate it a couple times but just got some scars on my legs and bruises on my arms but my head is mostly fine but I blame that on my birth and the crowd-surfing incident of 2011
