I heard about this cartoon. Why there seem to be a huge adult fanbase?

Arrested development.

It's very wholesome and endearing. One of those shows that parents enjoy, sometimes more than the kids. I very much recommend checking out this episode Disney refused to put on their platform.

It's a well-made episodic kids show that's as much about parenthood as it is childhood. The father (Bandit) is regarded as a good role model dad, who has an active, positive influence on his kids' lives. Usually it's by encouraging his kids' 'cheeky' side or imaginative behaviour. There are also episodes about loss or growing up. It's not unique in that regard, but compared to shows like Peppa Pig where the dad is a buffoon whose sole purpose in the show is to be ridiculed, it's a welcome change. I watch it with my niblings and it's fun. I wouldn't watch it otherwise.
