Still good riddance. One less hog breeding ground and it was one of the larger ones.
Hopefully user migrations to other sites like 8kun or wizardchan are diffuse enough that the user base loses its culture or at least is unable to attract much new blood.

Agreed. I’m under no impression that 4chan is gone gone, but having them split up will unironically make the internet a lot safer.
I’ve always likened 4chan to a digital mafia. Yeah, there’s still plenty of gangs to worry about, but one of the big mobs is out of the picture.
