Nah these people are far too cynical and empathy-impaired to feel a complex emotion like guilt, what they do feel is a kind of cultural cringe as a result of the Holocaust, other European bougies make fun and look down on them because the German political project was defeated and humiliated
So they construct a whole social narrative of "WE know what real genocide and antisemitism looks like, look how enlightened and above our past we are, unlike YOU" end of the day these motherfuckers are just as antisemitic as they are Islamophobic
