It's the dunk tank.

This is where you come to post big-brained hot takes by chuds, libs, or even fellow leftists, and tear them to itty-bitty pieces with precision dunkstrikes.

Rule 1: All posts must include links to the subject matter, and no identifying information should be redacted.

Rule 2: If your source is a reactionary website, please use archive.is instead of linking directly.

Rule 3: No sectarianism.

Rule 5: No ableism of any kind (that includes stuff like libt*rd)

Rule 6: Do not post fellow hexbears.

There was one berating the OOP about how, now that they've cut ties with her, the DSA has less power. Like how could they be so stupid as to do that.

Completely missing the point that they never had her 'power' to begin with, I swear people didn't use to be this dumb about politics but here we are ...

If your power is soley because you support someone, you don't have power over them. They have power over you.

It's politics as team sport. They see this as DSA trading away their star quarterback

I think what they mean by power is prominence. Outside of their association with her there is little the DSA could cite to the layperson to attest to their relevance. I respect them for what they did sticking by their principles, but this will materially make DSA a more niche, underfunded and fringe organization than it was already, though it was already flopping due to mismanagement.
