I was out tonight with her, and some gay dude called me the n word, and instead of me having to confront this cretin and make a scene with me looking like an aggressor, I told her about it and she fucking called this dude out in front of the entire hotel and not only had him kicked out but literally crying and making him and his friends aplogetically begging the staff lmao

Like, out of all possibilities, with me perhaps fighting this dude in front of his entire lib ass posse, this was probably the safest and most satisfying lol.

It sucks this entire world works like this but get a pretty white girl on your side and you’ve got everyone shitting bricks

i dont think pretty white women are worshipped any more than other pretty women other than by Nazis.

either way threads like this reinforce the notion that hot white women are somehow more special than brown or black women. I dont like this.

Thats just me though, maybe someone can argue against my take

it’s not about worship, it’s about white women being taken more seriously by white people, who i assume were the majority involved. they’re not special apart from the fact that hegemonic racism treats them as special.

I would still disagree.

I think theres enough sexism around that even a pretty white woman would be told "shut up bitch" or something like that, in fact ive seen it happen at bars multiple times. I dont think being a pretty white woman is some super special key other than to being objectified like every other pretty woman

Yes, the cocktail of racism and sexism is somewhat unpredictable, but we can say that in OP’s case the pretty white woman was taken more seriously than the black man, and more importantly in this case, not assumed to be violent for racist reasons. There are other situations where the cocktail would work out differently.
