Casting aside, how would a game where at least half of the dialog takes place in the protagonist's mind even work as a movie?
The Lynch version of Dune did that for much of the run.
and it was infamously a terrible movie that even Lynch hated
David Lynch is wrong and I'm not afraid to say it.
half the movie is cross fades and narration. the 2nd 50% of the plot happens in like 5 minutes. it's bad lmao
it's a bafflingly dull and badly paced movie filled with narration and cross-fades. Everyone I've ever tried to watch it with has fallen asleep
Lynch wasn’t mad he couldn’t finish it. He said it was the worst experience of his life and he would never do anything like it again. He wanted off the project as soon as possible.
He spent more time on torturing a hairless cat and a minor lieutenant of the Atreides than he spent on the entirety of the Fremen people and Chani’s character. The new films are so much better it’s not even funny.
It rains at the end of Lynch's Dune, so I don't know if it has a leg to stand on as far as plot changes go.
I love it and will die to defend it
Live action version of Inside Out
Just have them talk over the movie itd be like the movie form of an episode of psychosis
Give each person in the theatre a set of headphones that will overlay a randomised track with different in-head personas talking for each person watching. A slightly different experience every time.
