Chrétien being far and away the best pm in my lifetime is sad. At least he called Bush Jr a moron and his political scandals were low key and really really funny.

He had silly little real estate schemes and he talked funny. He also kinda had an odd fact but I guess that was from paralysis or something but it was the 90s and we were out here being incredibly ableist
I loved learning about that time that some whacko was able to walk into the PM residence and surprised Mrs. Chrétien making tea in a night gown (my recollection of the specifics are fuzzy)
