They were so tired from pulling their own train to get there. Now they have to pull it all the way back.

I haven't been following was there literally no evidence DPRK troops fought in Ukraine?
The Ukrainians have said a few things:
An interview with a POW whose Korean is non-standard: https://www.reddit.com/r/UkraineRussiaReport/comments/1hzt6sz/ua_pov_president_zelensky_published_an_interview/
[cw: dead body] A photoshopped passport: https://www.reddit.com/r/UkraineRussiaReport/comments/1gi7fhj/ru_pov_first_north_korean_captured_is_a_fake/
A zoomed out video shot through a fence of soldiers running: https://www.reddit.com/r/UkraineRussiaReport/comments/1g6e3tc/ua_pov_soldiers_from_north_korea_at_one_of_the/
A photo of a North Korean artillery vehicle being transported in Russia- https://www.reddit.com/r/UkraineRussiaReport/comments/1gr85hd/ru_pov_another_picture_of_north_koreas_170mm/
This video a Russian shot of what they say are North Koreans, shot in Primorye on the far eastern coast of Russia- https://www.reddit.com/r/UkraineRussiaReport/comments/1g9eeix/ru_pov_handsome_allies_have_arrived_from_north/
Otherwise there isn't evidence because the ontologically sneaky Russians are going onto the battlefield with cans of petrol and manually burning the faces off every dead North Korean soldier. We also don't have evidence of that.
There was also the totally unbiased and completely trustworthy South Korean intelligence agency claiming they totally have proof but ~~she goes to a different school~~ they can't show it to you sadly

Russia admitted they had DPRK troops in their country for joint training exercises. This is proof of nothing. I wouldn't even be shocked if they went to the front to learn a bit about modern tactics but I can guarantee they haven't fought outside of internationally recognized Russian territory (Kursk) IF at all. Most likely they just gave them briefings and training on modern warfare tactics which they'll take back to the DPRK.
That's where the middle ground truth of it lays for me. There's probably some kind of smallish detachment of observers, but neither Russia nor North Korea would benefit from having them as general infantry or within Ukrainian drone range.

It's so bad faith, but these libs that support the war believe in this shit 1000% without questioning it

Not beyond some random ass grainy pictures with inconsistent compression (indicating manipulation)
All the subtlety of Poochie's Farewell
"Hi Kim Jong Un. It looks like you have something to say. Do you?"
"Yes I certainly do!-" "My soldiers (which were definitely there!) have to go now. Our country needs them!"
NOTE: All of the North Korean soldiers died and were disfigured beyond recognition on the way back to their home country
Whenever Kim Jong Un isn't on the screen all the other characters should be asking, "Where's Kim?"
