Thinking of naming one dog Olive, what might pair well? Looking for Milo and Otis vibes.

That's just really funny to me to make a diminutive out of a diminutive. Martini already means Marty. Both Martinez and Martin, which they are respectfully diminutives of come from the Latin Martinus for a child dedicated to the god Mars.

Olive and Pickle sound like crude bathroom signs.

Martini.

I was going to say Yiu, as in "Olive you" (I love you), but "you" comes up way to much in regular language, would confuse the poor dog.

My wife and I have an Australian shepard named Olive. We've already committed to getting a mini and naming it caper

Martini. Marti for short, which has the benefit of being ungendered.

You could do Olive and Ollie for that sweet alliteration.

Alternatively, Olive and Chives is pretty good too.

Hugh.

As in "Olive, Hugh!"

I had a great-aunt named Olive whose husband's name was Ham (short for Hamilton).

Always known as Ham and Olive.
