Nothing says "Republican" like swaths of the central valley that are 70% impoverished Latinos who work in agriculture/shipping/service industries

Would have been smarter to do it with Texas

[–] zifnab25@hexbear.net 18 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Austinites declaring independence from Texas, then all the surrounding suburbs declaring independence from Austin, then the rural regions declaring independence from the suburban shitlibs, in a radial shockwave of new microstates that all insist on having closed borders.

I've been to Roseville once. The car share driver was a grillman who was ranting about (cw misogyny)

spoiler"that ugly bitch Hillary"
to a car full of strangers.

I did my leftist duty and tattled on him to his boss.

Been aggressively tailgated by lifted truck bros in Yuba city.

Was told by Fresno friends that Clovis is where all the white farmowners live

Bakersfield is Kevin McCarthy's district, enough said. Plus the reputation "Bakos" have on the central coast

Irvine was home to many neonazis/nazi punks in the 80s/90s. At one point, Orange County had 38 chapters of the John Birch Society

San Diego is 3 military bases in a trench coat, pretending to be a city.

They also left out Temecula and it's mcmansion brodozer hellscape

California has over 5 million Republican voters, the same amount as Florida.

Why did I ever leave California?

It's funny they can't even include Redding in their shitty republican state.

I think this is a parody of similar maps for a Palestine two-state solution

[–] Frank@hexbear.net 4 points 11 months ago

It' makes more sense in that context.

As a Stockton native, this is something that would absolutely pass in a city election.

The State of California will now collect taxes on behalf of the Republican Free State Authority in the Central Valley. Due to extremist activity in the Irvine Strip those funds will be redirected to California.
