This is the only way to reconcile the two different strains of brainworms inhabiting my boomer coworker's head. On the one hand, she comes from a family Republican cops and was excited to see the rise of Trump. On the other hand, she has an obsession with anybody named Kennedy just like everyone else from the Northeast over the age of 60. This is the synthesis she needs.

After JFK’s head did that, Americans have this god like reverence for anybody whose name ends in -FK. The lack of materialism leads them to believe that the Kennedy family is full of rebels who will expose the deep state just because one of them flew too close to the sun lol. It doesn’t help that all the Kennedy’s after JFK and RFK are useless human beings who ride the coattails of their dead grandpa or whatever instead of creating their own legacy.

Well, if I can't live in a just world, I'll be OK with settling for a funny one.

[–] Justice@lemmygrad.ml 20 points 9 months ago

Felix has been guessing the funniest outcome for years now and has a fairly solid record of being correct. He predicted Genocide Joe actually winning the primaries in 2020 when Biden was essentially out of race before SC and the Obama calls went out. Since then I've also shared his view.

If the US ends up Balkanizing over a made up border crisis that the dems are desperately and actively helping republicans fabricate

That would be pretty funny

The first civil war will always have themes of like righteous and moral fortitude. Not that everyone was there for the cause of emancipation, but that was the end result.

And civil war two is like a limp dicked, cum barely dribbling out of a 45 year old divorced dad's cock. Fought over some bullshit lies and exaggerations based on racism that both parties actually agreed on. I mean, that's pretty fucking funny. Am I probably going to die? I dunno. But if I do die due to this conflict it will undoubtedly have been for absolutely nothing! And that's kinda funny

[–] SorosFootSoldier@hexbear.net 27 points 9 months ago (1 children)

But he was supposed to bring JFK Jr. out of hiding pretending he died.

[–] Red_Sunshine_Over_Florida@hexbear.net 16 points 9 months ago (2 children)

They mixed up a J for an R. Somebody spilled mayo on the proofs and smudged them a bit.

[–] VernetheJules@hexbear.net 4 points 9 months ago

thanks patriot, I will trust the plan

[–] PoY@lemmygrad.ml 3 points 9 months ago

damn why does Pete B have to fuck everything up all the time

[–] duderium@hexbear.net 22 points 9 months ago

Yo dawg I heard you like fascism so I put some fascism in your fascism so you can fascism while you fascism!

[–] MF_COOM@hexbear.net 22 points 9 months ago

Genuinely brilliant move

[–] FishLake@lemmygrad.ml 21 points 9 months ago

It’s too funny not to happen

[–] puff@hexbear.net 20 points 9 months ago (1 children)

Biden is going to get absolutely stomped in this election

[–] zifnab25@hexbear.net 8 points 9 months ago (2 children)

We'll see. He's got an enormous headwind and he's not nearly as popular in the Midwest as he was in 2016.

They're both deeply unappealing candidates with these deranged bases of support.

[–] tactical_trans_karen@hexbear.net 6 points 9 months ago (2 children)

When was the last time there was an actually appealing candidate on the final ticket?

[–] Trudge@lemmygrad.ml 12 points 9 months ago

1920, when Eugene Debs ran for the last time.

[–] zifnab25@hexbear.net 5 points 9 months ago* (last edited 9 months ago)

Obama 2008. And even then, only appealing to the segment of the population not biting through its own tongue trying not to say the N-word.

Also - and, admittedly, this was just during the primary - but I'm going to take a bold position and say I found Bernie Sanders appealing.

[–] PoY@lemmygrad.ml 5 points 9 months ago

it's so fitting that an impeached former president who is on trial for trying to rig the election is polling ahead of the sitting president, who doesn't really ever know where he's at or what he's saying but is 110% down with openly supporting genocide by funding it and starting further wars to protect it.

You can't get any more American than this.

[–] Alaskaball@hexbear.net 17 points 9 months ago

oh my god thats mind-crunchingly hilarous!

QUICK BIDEN! MAKE THE SAME OFFER!

Make the election a hundred times funnier by making a fucking kennedy the kingmaker!

[–] DogPeePoo@lemm.ee 16 points 9 months ago (2 children)

I’m old enough to remember Fox trying to convince the public that he is a “dEmOcRaT”

[–] zifnab25@hexbear.net 12 points 9 months ago
[–] axont@hexbear.net 6 points 9 months ago

I remember him running in 2000 with universal healthcare as a main plank. Trump's been known as the village racist in NYC for decades though

[–] Frogmanfromlake@hexbear.net 14 points 9 months ago (1 children)

That would be a damn good move with how popular RFK is with non-affiliated voters and Right-Wingers. I know people people who hate Trump but like RFK for whatever reason.

[–] PoY@lemmygrad.ml 3 points 9 months ago* (last edited 9 months ago)

not to mention how easily really he fellates zionists

[–] RyanGosling@hexbear.net 12 points 9 months ago (1 children)

Biden should choose Mike Pence as VP for retaliation

[–] 0x0520@hexbear.net 6 points 9 months ago

Alternatively, I have an idea to address the age thing AND make sure She gets Her turn.

[–] 420stalin69@hexbear.net 12 points 9 months ago
[–] Lovely_sombrero@hexbear.net 9 points 9 months ago (2 children)

This would be quite funny. Also, Haley would be a better VP pick.

[–] jonne@infosec.pub 10 points 9 months ago

I'm ok with either of them having a hit put out on them by Trump.

[–] Biggay@hexbear.net 9 points 9 months ago

Haley wouldnt take it imo because most of her fanbase comes from not being Trump. She has more to lose and less to gain unless Trump dies, which isnt non-zero but damn she'd be essentially out of politics for 4 years if he didnt.

[–] aaaaaaadjsf@hexbear.net 9 points 9 months ago* (last edited 9 months ago)

Would honestly work, apparently the RFK Jr. guy was polling at over 10% nationally at one point. The power of a surname folks. And terrible pop history about JFK.

[–] ComRed2@hexbear.net 8 points 9 months ago

Lol, but also, to a lesser extent, lmao.

[–] kristina@hexbear.net 8 points 9 months ago (2 children)
[–] zifnab25@hexbear.net 4 points 9 months ago

Nonsense. It's clearly a kakistocracy

[–] VapeNoir@hexbear.net 3 points 9 months ago

The House of Kennedy has failed to return America to the Holy Mother Church. We must all become Brandonites now.

[–] rootsbreadandmakka@hexbear.net 6 points 9 months ago

oh cool, two corpses instead of just one!

[–] frogbellyratbone_@hexbear.net 5 points 9 months ago* (last edited 9 months ago)

isn't RFK running third party and the republicans are scared of him pulling votes?

i don't think he'll be VP but that would solve that dilemma

[–] Hestia@hexbear.net 3 points 9 months ago

The orange duo.
