a few months post Al-Aqsa Flood when it became clear Bernie wasn't going to use the term "genocide", I trashed most of the Bernie campaign materials left from 2020. I had boxes of stuff. the only thing I held onto was a nice full-zip Bernie campaign hoodie. It's one of the few things I haven't thrown out but now I have the impulse to burn it because there's no context in which I can imagine wearing it again
I ended up with some free swag for [extremely ghoulish corporation] that I've held onto in the hopes that I could find a very funny situation to wear it, so there's always that angle. I realize that it's a lot more painful to hold on to something that you once felt proud of, though.
Yeah I have a similar thing, a shirt from a summer camp that was sponsored by... one of the worst companies. I don't really know if I've had a good opportunity to wear it though.
