I haven't listened to the podcast in years but I really hope Matt recovers. He's a brilliant thinker and has provided so many insights, and was always the most entertaining part of anything he was involved in.

I really enjoyed Matt on the show and I look forward to his recovery. Even with the low production values of the cushvlogs, I’ve never felt that they were a waste of time. Through the years, he kept a positive attitude and focused on the larger issues in the world. so much of the podcasts are self-absorbed gossip. I bet Matt hates even being discussed like this.

chapo has done a lot to put words to my general frustration with politics and such in the leadup to and immediate aftermath of 2016. Cushman was probably the biggest part of that (big ups to his Charlottesville rant) and I really hope he pulls through and everything comes out okay. Would like homie to see his daughter and hold her.

Get well Matt, your kid needs you! It was spooky how the last Cushvlog ended, and I was thinking about Michael Brooks and the corpus of works that we leave behind when we're gone. Matt was talking about how he was always just waiting for the other shoe to drop, and I was thinking "but you at least have a great body of work that you've left behind even if this were the end". Now facing the idea that we might actually not have more Matt content, it feels like shit.

I kinda lost interest in Chapo after Bernie 2020 fizzled out but Matt still seems like one of the personalities holding everything together. I hope for the best (as much effort as i have to put into actually caring for anyone for so little results)
