Honestly my life is fantastic right now I LITERALLY cannot understand why I feel like this today. I have a ton going on and all of it is good but somehow that's still scary and so many of the good things that are happening are somehow scary anyway and I'm really ultra struggling. How y'all doing. Tell me something good that you're up to this weekend and maybe your blooming will help distract me from whatever this ridiculous anxiety is coming from. It do be like that sometimes.

So basically they increased they federal minimum wage for salary employees. By a LOT. This is a huge huge increase for a lot of people. And it is recalculated for further automatic increases every 3 years. I personally know people who will benefit massively from this.

And yet I never heard about it. I would actually give a point to the Biden administration for this...it's a good and meaningful, if small, systemic change. I asked the turbolibs in my life about it....they didn't know. I asked folks who are going to be receiving this increase...they didn't know why they were getting it. Some of them didn't even know they were getting it. They just thought their boss was being nice. A few didn't know they were getting it at all and will probably just be surprised when suddenly their paycheck is bigger.

Like how are you not leading with stuff like this? Hey millions of Americans who wants a $10,000 plus raise automatically? It doesn't impact hourly employees so it still leaves a lot of the working class out, but many many working class people are salaried and below this threshold and will benefit a lot from this. How is this not plastered on every billboard? "Dear America look how much of a raise we got you."

They didn't want to win on the economy. If they did they would have led with things like this. They wanted to win on their thirst for blood. I think the fact that nobody knew about this change is compelling evidence enough.

Its great. You meet treasure hunters who share artifacts with the cultures they're from so that those cultural leaders can decide what to do with them. You help a character come to terms with their gender identity. You encourage people to build community in more than just a "we can win with the power of friendship" kinda way. I'm only on the first half of the game too.

It reviewed kinda mid but honestly these touches have totally sold me. It's actually feels like the writers of this game were a multicultural group of people who put thought into making it inclusive.

Is anyone else playing? Is this the experience others are having? Is all this based-ness why people are review bombing it?

Know that person you saw and you were like damn they are kinda weird but they're owning that so hard they're so cool?

You could be that person if you just go for it. I don't care what it is either. It could be doing some art, or helping at a food bank, or asking your doctor about a new medication, or buying a guitar, or wearing a bowtie, or trying a new recipe, or asking your cool co workers to go grab lunch sometime, or like literally whatever the fuck you want. If it's at all safe and possible for you to do it you should just go for it.

If it's not possible or safe to go for it alone that's fine find people who wanna go for it with you and do it with them. That's what community is. You can be a part of it whatever that looks like for you.

Going for it is how we learn and grow and be better. You're gonna mess up along the way but that's cool learn from it. If you can learn and grow and be better by doing whatever thing speaks to you to go do, then you'll be in a better position to help others do the same.

And then they can do the same for others.

And those people can do the same for even more.

Before you know it the world is just full of cool fucking people being awesome and that's how we build community. This isn't some stupid individualistic nonsense about actualizing yourself and live pray love or whatever. This is you going for it and just getting over whatever is stopping you from being who you genuinely want to be, and being part of communities that do it together with you. Community isn't formed by just sitting around hoping it into existence it's formed by doing the things you want to do and doing it with others, and you can't do that if you haven't taken the first step and just going for it.

Workers do more than just work we live our lives. Go live it. Go for it. It means more than you think.

It almost seems totally AI generated? Their website is a real trip of just absolute buzzwords that don't mean anything.
