Doomscrolling is a lot like gambling where you keep going, thinking you're going to finally hit something that makes you feel good (or smart or important). It's important to break out of that cycle, because it is addicting.

Tech companies have been making designs less readable for decades now. Eventually, you will just have a button with an icon you will understand to mean "slop" and you press it and the slop appears.

Does eating hurt because of the stomach pain or does it start in the throat?

I've heard of people with covid recently sometimes having very sharp pain in their throats when they swallow.

Could definitely be covid, but interested to hear if/when there is a diagnosis.

The only thing that gives me hope we'll be able to fix all of this after we defeat the losers causing it is that the Soviets were able to increase literacy from ~25% to ~90% in like 20 years. Things can improve very quickly if a concerted effort is made (as seen by life expectancy in communist countries post-revolution as well).

Grime on your car actually serves as a protective layer against the elements. It is bourgeoisie decadence to wash your car and be able to afford the added maintenance upkeep when not having the secret protective grime.
