It's a reference to the goblins from Harry Potter which are Jewish stereotypes in the book and in the movie the bank the goblins work in has a giant star of David on the floor (because the actual bank they were using had one, this is not really Joannes fault).
The ADL (?) determined that this was a case of cultural anti-Semitism and that Joanne didn't really do anything wrong, she was just using tropes without examining them.
Of course then the Harry Potter game doubled down on the Goblin-Jewish connection by adding in a Shofar and explicit reference to the Fettmilch uprising.
