Wow, I would love to give Democrats even more cover to do nothing ever. "We were gonna make queers immortal, but there are 170 Republicans in the Senate and we tried our hardest."
The 170 Republican senators have called a constitutional convention and will pass a range of draconian amendments to the constitution, giving Trump the legislative powers of Henry VIII and making him the immortal Leader - donate $50 to Act Blue to save democracy!
(Henry VIII codified the ability to make legislation by royal proclamation, bypassing parliament and setting the British state up for the execution of Charles I and civil war a hundred years later)
