Around the same time as this JasonDJ person got defensive about misgendering me, someone on Lemmygrad got defensive about misgendering someone else, after I called them out on it. Why do cis people feel so entitled? i love these types because there is nothing at all subtle about them but they always think they're being slick with their deflections. like no, sorry, i fundamentally do not believe that they are out there dying on the hill of calling their office buddy jim "jimbo". it's not happening. but the instant a trans person has an opinion on how they'd like to be referred to it's "b-b-but i've been calling people dude since i was first incarnated in ancient sumeria! it's literally my culture, this is genocide!!!"
